Our Story

We met in the summer of 2006 and decided to have our elegant country wedding on the family farm in 2011. We worked together to combine all the warmth and country charm to assure our wedding would reflect who we are as a couple and express our unique style. It was after our wedding when hearing all the positive reviews and encouragement from family, friends, local wedding planners and photographers that we began thinking of opening the farm as a wedding venue.

As retirement approached, my husband asked if I could think of a part-time business to run on the farm. I immediately thought of my lifetime dream business, a farm wedding venue surrounded by beautiful lavender, dahlias, zinnias and who doesn’t love sunflowers. And that’s when Lane57 was created. We jumped in with both feet and opened our doors to other couples to experience the same country elegance as we did that very special day.
